  • We are located within Core Therapies Family wellness at 17 Hanover Road Bldg. #300 in Florham Park, NJ. But if leaving your home feels like too much, please reach out to discuss our mobile pelvic health options

  • Initial Evaluation: 90 Minutes: $200

    Treatment Session: 60 Minutes: $150

  • During a pelvic floor therapy session you should expect, a lot of discussion. We will look at your posture and how you perform functional movements (sit, stand, getting on and off the floor, managing your children, etc.).

We will then look at your breathing and core muscles and how they pertain to your symptoms.

Internal work is done on a consent basis and your comfort is of the utmost importance. Internal work allows for assessing muscle tension, asymmetry, scar tissue and muscle coordination.

  • Your first visit is called an initial evaluation. The initial evaluation will last about 90 minutes. During this time we will get to know one another and discuss concerns, goals and what you are looking to get out of pelvic floor therapy. You will leave with recommendations, at home functional exercises and/or an abundance of education.

  • Internal assessments are done based on YOUR comfort. There is not a necessary tome they must be completed, if the first visit doesn’t feel right, it can be done at a later time.

However, the internal assessment does give important information on how your pelvic floor and core muscles work together. We are able to get a clearer view of pain points, scar tissue, tightness, strength and how your body is managing pressures. Lending to a more accurate view of what is going on and how we can progress sooner.

  • This depends on the person as a whole. Symptoms, client history play an important role. On average 6-8 sessions are recommended for those who are able to integrate education and work into their everyday practices.

  • Periods or menstruation are a natural part of your life and as long as you feel comfortable, internal work can continue. External work is not effected either way, but rescheduling is based on personal choice.
